Ghanaian rapper Michael Akwesi Owusu, known in Showbiz circles as Sarkodie once again has made history by winning 2019 BET Awards in the newly created category ‘Best International Flow’.
Contenders of the category included Nigerian rapper Falz, Ghetts from UK, Kalash from France, Female rapper Little Simz from the UK, Nasty C from South Africa, Canadian rapper Tory Lanez and Sarkodie from Ghana.
In King Sark Acceptance speech, he said
“I just want to say thank you to the Almighty God, to family, this one is for my little girl Titi. I think Africa has always had it and it is about that time. This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each and every one of you here to take a trip back home, to Ghana”
Meanwhile the 2019 BET Awards was hosted by American comedian, actor and entertainer, Lil Duval and was held at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Georgia, United States of America .
