Nana Boroo, the ‘Aha Yede’ Hitmaker has been slammed and accused by Ghanaians for stealing his new single ‘fine boy’ which is said to be a replica of Legendary J. A Adofo’s song ‘Yaa Dufie’.
Initially Nana Boroo denied allegations levelled against him, until a few days ago in an interview on OKay Fm with Abeiku Santana, he admitted taking inspiration from the old tune.
Well, Abeiku Santana has settled and cooled down tempers of both parties after Son of Legendary Adofo, Adofo Jnr threatened to sue Boroo for taking his father’s property without seeking permission .
Meanwhile Lynx entertainment Signee Kuami Eugene, in an interview on Accra based Yfm when asked his competitor as far as current highlife music is concerned answered Nana Boroo.
Asked why Nana Boroo and not any other artist , he laughed and said,
“Nana Boroo has been off for sometime but his new single is a banger”.
Both Kuami Eugene and Nana Boroo have been accused many times for song theft.
Well, Maybe Kuami Eugene is trying to tell us that he has finally met his competitor as far as song theft is concerned.
