As Beyonce’s honor to pay homage to Africa, she’s featured African artists on an album “The Lion King”which is said to be release in 19th July. Dancehall artist Shatta Wale was the only lucky musician to have come from Ghana.
The news really came out as a surprise to Ghanaians.
However music lovers, fans and entertainment pundits have been curious as to how ‘Local champion’ s he is perceived could be the lucky chosen one to be on Megastar Beyoncé Album.
In an Interview on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon Fm with Sammy Flex, Shatta Wale reveals that, God is the solution to where he is now.
‘I was home and I got a call from Leslie that Beyonce’s management want to do a song with me off their album . I have management in the state so together with Leslie who work for Beyonce, they put things together and here we are today’ .
Asked why he didnt put the message out there, he sarcastically he said,
“Oh me I’m that artist who doesn’t talk much my management even asked why I didn’t put it out there and I said nothing “.
Diggingmmore into the song and his verse he reacted that ..
“I did two verses for the song but the first verse was ignored.
He added that little challenges came in but he was hoping for the best.
Asked if he has been a fan of Beyonce, he added
“Beyoncé is that artist that I have admired for a very long time. I once told my girl that I wish we could be like her. Beyoncé and Jay Z are serious doing business, so as myself.”
