Ya’ll remember the very good days in “cruche” when we used to sing Kids Songs like” I see the moon”, Rain Rain Go Away “,” All Work and No play makes Jack a dull Boy “, ” black black black Sheep”, “My head and my shoulder”, “When I was a poor man” etc.
Those songs back then, kept kids enthused about going to school even if they originally didn’t want to. Teachers resorted to some methods to keep kids active and awake especially when they were found dozing.
Dancehall king Shatta Wale however, never saw the need for any of those, and called it “Nkwaseasem”.
On his verified Twitter account, the controversial musician who recently made peace with his rival Stonebwoy posted lyrics of one of those childhood songs “When I was a poor boy” and ended it “Nkwaseasem wo Ghana dodo” .
He however advised his fans to let the lyrics be their guide even though he called it foolishness “Nkwaseasem “
