Let’s pray it doesn’t happen again – Medikal on VGMA.

Rapper Medikal has taken to Facebook pass a seemingly sarcastic statement by congratulating his fans for voting for him.

He however asked them to support him with their prayers in other to save him from not winning any award like last year.

Flashback to 2018 VGMA awards, the Omo Ada hitmaker got 7 nominations but sadly walked home with none. Ghanaians, as we all know, could be the biggest trolls on the cyber web, so it came as no surprise when music enthusiasts and fans took to social media to create a mockery out of the rapper’s tragedy and tagged him an ‘artist for junior high school students’.

This year the Rapper has deservingly bagged four predominant nominations in the VGMA’s which include,
Rapper of the year
Hiplife/hiphop artiste of the year
Highlife song of the year and Hiphop song of the year.

He’s however optimistic that he will take something home this time around and heal the wounds of his immediate past.

Medikal writes:
“Vgma today, thanks for your votes, let’s pray 2 years ago’s history doesn’t repeat itself today 😂”
