Word on the street has always had it that most of the musicians that rose to fame from the Tema metropolis are fraud Boys. The likes of a R2bees, Chris Waddle, Kwaw Kesse are among the musicians who have been perceived as “Game Boys”, a tag given to people who scam white men and women for money.
BET Nominee and Rapper Kwesi Arthur seems to be the latest artiste from Tema under such suspicion and prejudice.
Speaking to Kwesi Arthur’s father on Hitz Fm Daybreak with Andy Dosty, the member of the pentecostal church rubbished rumors that his son is a fraud boy and asked the host if Kwesi is not a well trained young man.
According to the father, growing up, Kwesi Arthur was a young boy who had love for video games. As a father he did all he can to protect him for involving himself in such games, with particular attention to the gambling side of it.
He stated that he wasn’t a man who pampered his children when they did something wrong and so Kwesi was very careful and grew up responsible.
He however added that the stories about he disliking Kwesi Arthur hairstyle isn’t the rappers fault.
“As a child Kwesi had a big head and his friends used to knock and laugh at his head and that is the reason why he didn’t like barbering from the scratch” – he said
He is of the opinion that the Woara Hitmaker knows what is good for him and such he doesn’t want to intervene in issues that will affect his brand.
