Secular music over the years in Ghana has been branded by many religious people as satanic.
Many a times gospel musicians deliberately separate themselves from secular musicians and have answered no to any form of collaborations with them.
However, after Shatta Wale’s feature on Beyonce’s Album, it was amazing that some Gospel musicians came out boldly to congratulate him.
The likes of Anita Afriyie, Gifty Osei among others were gospel musicians who took to social media to disclose how happy they are for the dancehall artist.
Ohemaa Mercy has joined the crop of Gospel musicians who see something good in Shatta Wale’s feature.
Speaking on Hitz fm Daybreak Hitz with Andy Dosty, Ohemaa answered to how she sees the collabo,
“Am so happy for Shatta Wale, it is a blessing for a Ghanaian to get to that height” – She said.
Ohemaa Mercy is set to bless Ghanaians with another beautiful performance on her “Tahillah Experience” event. This year’s experience is dated on the 11st August at ICGC Calvary Temple, Spintex.
Artists to bless the night are Veteran Gospel musicians Elder Mireku, Ceccy Twum, Joe Mettle, Diana Antwi Hamilton and many others
