Bisa Kdei and Kofi Kinaata who once reigned with the highlife genre are slowly fading out, which has gotten some fans and industry players worried. For Bisa some claim his career is dwindling due to his ‘one-way’ style of singing. Recently, Twitter users tagged him as a ‘funeral artist’ due to the melancholic style he adopts to sing.
Over the week, music critic Mr Logic slammed Ghanaians who compare highlife Artists Kidi and Kuami Eugene to Bisa Kdei.
Speaking on Hitz fm he said that it is disrespect to compare the young artists who repeat lyrics to Bisa Kdei who once saved highlife.
Well, Logic isn’t the one way who has complained about the Lynx entertainment signees doing repetition in most of their songs.
Today a social media User has revealed that her music friend who once predicted the fall of Bisa Kdei and Kofi Kinaata has also said same about two of the 4Ks (Kidi, Kwesi Arthur, King Promise, Kuami Eugene) if they don’t stop repetitions of lyrics .
In her post she didn’t mention names but it’s pretty obvious that she was referring to Kidi and Kuami Eugene.
