Ghanaian rastafarian and musician Ras Kuuku has said that Ghanaians should pay attention to his music instead of the bad stigma around Rastafarians.
He made this statement in a recent interview on hitz fm.
According to the talented Dancehall and reggae Artist, he has been underrated for a long time even though he’s trying his best in the music industry.
He indicated that there is discrimination in the industry and as a matter of fact, very few artistes are getting the necessary push.
He continued to say that many have approached him, telling him to ride on negativity and controversies in oder to become relevant, but he has no interest in doing that.
Kuuku noted that, artists shouldn’t be controversial to be pushed or given the necessary attention, rather his good music and talent should be the reason he is the news and remains relevant.
He added that people shouldn’t form prejudices about him based on his Rasta look, but support his career because that is the only way he can put Ghana on the map.
