Multiple Award winner Beyonce as her project to come back to her ancestral root has selected and featured top African musicians on one album dubbed “The Lion King”
The Album which is said to be released on the 19th of July featured great talents in Africa “In Beyonce’s words” . Ghanaian Dancehall King Shatta Wale, was the only artist from Ghana.
In Nigeria talents like Wizkid, Burna boy, Yemi Alade, Mr Eazi, Tekno, Tiwa Savage are musicians who found themselves on the album. South African singer Busiswa and many other African artists.

The Album also featured Beyonce’s husband Jay Z, her daughter Ivy Blue, Rapper Kendrick Lamar, Singer and producer Pharrell Williams, Grammy Winner Childish Gambino and many others
Fans all over Africa and the world have celebrated and congratulated their artists who made it on Beyonce’s track list.
While some are happy others are also confused and asking themselves as to why their favorite artists didn’t make it on the album.
One musician who was excluded and has surprised music lovers all over the world is afrobeats singer Davido from Nigeria.
To fans, Davido will not be left out if three names are mentioned as best African Superstars who have worked and put Africa on the Map.
Meanwhile his long time rival Wizkid made it on the list.
Fans of the artist have taken to social media to disclose their displeasure about the incident.
